LUNAFEST® – Short films by, for, about women.

LUNAFEST, a national film festival featuring short films by, for and about women, is coming back to Hilo! Come support your local YWCA of Hawaii Island while enjoying Jackie Rey’s hospitality and films that celebrate the unique, touching and inspirational roles of women in our local, national and international communities.

Please join us on Saturday, August 10th for a hosted reception at Jackie Rey’s Hilo location starting at 4 pm with heavy pupu and beer and wine.  Then come to the YWCA on Ululani Street at 5:30 pm to get your popcorn and seat for the 90-minute film screening beginning at 6:00 pm. Age appropriate audience is 14+ yrs.
